There are lots of questions when it comes to death and life beyond. And you've asked some great ones! Chris McGrath, one of our many knowledgeable life group facilitators, has responded to some of them in this blog. Definitely worth your look! And if you have others, just add them in a response posting. You can email Chris at

Will God throw us out if we've done an "unforgiveable" sin? Can our deceased family members guide us as much as Jesus does? How old will you be in heaven? Will you continue to get older? When people die can they see and pray for people on earth? Are there different levels of heaven? Do you think Satan and the demons enjoy it in hell? Where is heaven located?

Do you ever struggle with faith? With believing that God can and will do what He says? Do you find it hard to trust God when He asks you to? The Israelites did when they were in the desert. And many have since. |

Heaven & Hell - Real places or figments of our imagination? What does the Bible actually say about our eternal home? Will there be streets of gold and crystal seas? Do we wear white robes and carry harps? And is Hell a place of fire and torment, or just darkness and distance? What can we know for sure?
Alive is taking two weeks to examine these important topics in a series entitled "Beyond - Heaven, Hell & Life Now".
Your questions are going to be important, and we'll endeavor to respond to as many of them as possible on this blog. You can submit questions by adding a comment to the blog below.
In the meantime, check out these two documents. The first is a great booklet on Heaven - Our Eternal Home, what it's like, and you can find it here.
The other is a master's paper I wrote on Hell - How Can A Good God Send People To Hell? It's a dialogue format, so should be interesting, and I'd love to get your feedback.
It's going to be a great series, hope to see you out! If you miss any, catch them on our website here:

This summer Alive Ministries is taking a group of up to 20 young adults to Oliver, BC to grow as disciples, leaders, and servants for Christ. If you are a young adult and desire to learn more about true leadership in God’s eyes and how that can impact His calling on your life, we encourage you to get involved and be a part of this trip. You can view photos of last year's trip here: Read testimonies from those who went here: Read more and download an application in this blog.
